Pace Portal: Updating Personal Email Address

Introduction

Pace students, faculty, and staff can add a personal email address via their Pace Portal account.  This alternate email address will be needed if you ever forget your Pace password and need to reset it via the ADAM.pace.edu website.

Instructions

Students Updating Personal Email Address

  1. Navigate to portal.pace.edu
  2. Type your Pace username (e.g. jd12345n) and password
    Pace Credentials
    • Note: For issues or further assistance from an ITS representative, please use the following means:
      • Call the ITS Help Desk at 914-773-3333 or extension 33333 on campus
         
  3. Click LOGIN
    Login
    • Note: Duo Multifactor Authentication (MFA) Passcode Requirement
      Faculty, staff, contractors, and students will be prompted to enter an additional passcode to complete their 2-factor authentication to gain entry into Pace Portal. To enroll a device for the first time, please visit Duo (MFA): First Device Enrollment article. Please see additional instructions in using Duo prompt.
       
  4. Click Student Home

  5. Click Update Lived Name / Pronoun

  6. Click  pencil icon if Personal email address is shown

    -or-
    Click Add New
    Add New
  7. If accessible, select Personal in Email Type drop down menu
    Email Type
  8. Type your personal email address
    Email Address
  9. Type a comment if needed
    Comments
  10. Click Add or Update
  11. Your email should now be listed under Personal

Faculty and Staff Updating Personal Email Address

  1. Navigate to portal.pace.edu
  2. Type your Pace username (e.g. jd12345n) and password

  4. Click Staff Home

  5. Click on Dashboard Pre-2024

  6. Click My Profile
  7. Click  pencil icon within Emails
  8. Click  pencil icon if Personal email address is shown

    Click Add New
  9. If accessible, select Personal in Email Type drop down menu
  10. Type your personal email address
  11. Type a comment if needed
  12. Click Add or Update
  13. Your email should now be listed under Personal
