Virtual Private Network (VPN)

Virtual Private Networking (VPN) is a software tool that allows Pace end-users to connect securely to the Pace University network from off-campus (e.g. home).  Once you authenticate with your Pace username and password, the VPN software will create an encrypted connection between your off-campus computer and the Pace network.  This will allow you to access network resources as if you were using a computer located on-campus.

  • All users are required to be enrolled in Duo Multifactor Authentication (MFA) in order to connect to VPN.
  • Connecting to the Pace VPN with Duo MFA requires the use of the Duo Mobile app, which the user must install on his/her mobile device.  If you need further assistance with this procedure, please contact the ITS Help Desk at (914) 773-3333,, or Help Desk Ticket.
