Office 365: Web Interface

Introduction

Pace University offers Office 365 Pro Plus subscription free of charge to eligible students, faculty, and staff. The Office 365 web interface can be accessed anywhere using any web browser.

Your Pace Portal email address and password will be required to login for this subscription. The Office 365 ProPlus license will remain active until you leave the university. When you are no longer an active faculty, staff or a student, your license will expire and you will have the option to continue the subscription on your own with Microsoft.

Instructions

Signing on to Office 365 via Web Browser

  1. Go to https://portal.office.com
  2. Type your Pace Portal email address, and click Next

  3. Type your Pace Portal password and click Sign in

  4. Enter in the 6-digit passcode generated from the Duo Mobile app or hardware token
    • Note: All faculty, staff, contractors, and students are required to use Duo MFA 2-factor authentication.

  5. Click Log In

  6. If prompted to stay signed in to office 365 website, either select yes or no as desired.
  7. Select from the list of office 365 apps

Signing out of Office 365 via Web Browser

  1. Click on the letter associated with your name on upper right hand corner
    Sign Out
  2. Click Sign out
