How will it work?

As part of the Student Technology Fee, at the beginning of each semester, a credit will be applied three times throughout the year--the start of the Fall and Spring semesters as well as Summer Session 1.

  • Students: All students receive a non-refundable technology allotment of $30.00 on their Pace ID Card at the beginning of every semester (3x/year). This credit allows them to print, scan, and copy documents in the Tech Zone, Computer Resource Center, Mortola and Birnbaum Libraries, and other locations with Pharos printers. This credit cannot be carried over from one semester to the next.
However, any additional cash funds that students add to their Pace ID Card (campus account) will carry over from semester to semester until used. To add additional cash funds, students can visit Student Accounts and have the funds applied to their campus account. Those funds can also be used for Pharos printing. Funds can also be added online by visiting the Campus Printing Account website and clicking on the provided link. You will be required to enter your Pace Portal username and password and make a credit card or electronic check payment. Added funds through Student Accounts or the Campus Printing Account website will be accessible 2 hours after the transaction. Any remaining unused cash funds will be carried over from semester to semester.
  • Faculty/Staff: Due to the fact that this is a "student centered" initiative, Pace faculty/staff using these services will be charged monthly via a departmental charge back (similar to Document Services' process).
  • Alumni/Guest: Pace alumni and guests will receive $3.00 three times a year.
