PACE-GUEST: Guest Connecting to WiFi

Introduction

Below is information and instructions for connecting to the new PACE-GUEST network.

Note:

• In order to obtain a wireless guest account, an active student, staff, or faculty (sponsor) must create the account for the guest.
• Sponsors will be able to create one or more temporary wireless accounts For a sponsor to create a guest account, please click on one of the titles listed below.
  • Creating Individual Wireless Guest Account
  • Creating Multiple Random Wireless Guest Accounts
• Students with media or streaming devices can register the device and connect to the PACE-GUEST network.

Instructions

Steps to Connect to PACE-GUEST Network for Visiting Guest:

1. Open your device’s wireless setup page and locate PACE-GUEST in available networks
2. Click PACE-GUEST to connect and, if prompted, click Sign in to the network to redirect to the Guest Portal login screen
   • Note: Older devices may not display the sign-in prompt. In that case, launch your browser and visit an http:// website such as neverssl.com. Visiting an http:// site will redirect you to the Pace Guest Portal login screen; it cannot be https:// (with the ‘s’).
3. On the Guest Portal login screen, type the username and password provided by your sponsor in the corresponding fields
4. Check the box to agree to the terms and conditions
5. Click Sign On

Disclaimer: While most devices support connecting to an open network such as PACE-GUEST, there’s always a possibility that a particular device may not be compatible.  In addition, certain devices may have specific security settings enabled that prevent it from completing the redirection to the Guest Portal for login.
