Undergraduate Merit Scholarships at Pace University:
Merit Scholarships are available for a maximum of 4 years from the term the student enters the University, or until the first bachelor's degree is completed. Students enrolled in an approved 5-year program may receive the award for up to 5 years if they continue to enroll for a minimum of 12 credits. Summer sessions are not included. These awards apply only to tuition charges at Pace University and may not, in combination with other tuition-specific financial aid, exceed the student's actual tuition. Renewal is automatic provided the student maintains the minimum cumulative QPA requirement and continuous full-time enrollment for each Fall and Spring term.
Leave of Absence
Pace-funded merit awards will typically be reinstated upon a student's return from a leave of absence, provided all other requirements for such aid are met and the student resumes studies by the approved date stated in the Leave of Absence Application. Failure to resume studies by the specified date, or to obtain an eligible extension, may result in the exclusion of Pace-funded merit awards from future financial aid considerations.
Reinstatement of an Undergraduate Merit Award upon Resumption of Studies
Students returning from a leave of absence may appeal for the reinstatement of their Pace-funded merit awards. If they meet all the standards for reinstatement, including satisfactory academic progress, the merit awards will be restored upon their resumption of studies. To request a review for reinstatement of your Undergraduate Merit Award following a leave of absence submit this request.
A Resumption of Studies must be completed and processed by the Office of the Registrar before submitting this request.
