Pace Profile Photos and Associated Systems

Introduction

Pace University offers two main websites (Pace Directory and Transact) for users to upload their own photos. Depending on which site the photo is uploaded to, it will update either Pace profile or security ID. Consequently, most Pace systems refer to one of these two main sites to retrieve and display a user's photo.

Note: Individual systems not mentioned in this article may have their own distinct profile photos that can be added to the site. This is not an exhaustive list of all sites and their corresponding photos.

Explanation

Pace Directory

Profile pictures of a user can be added to Pace Directory. These pictures will be visible not only on Pace Directory but also across other Pace systems within Pace. Below are a few of those systems.

  • Email
  • Office 365 Apps
  • Pace Directory
  • Skype for Business
  • Teams
  • Zoom

Note: It might take up to 24 hours for changes of the Portrait Photo to be reflected across these systems.

For more information on how to upload photos to the Pace Directory, please refer to the Pace Directory: Adding Profile Photo article.

Transact (One Card ID)

Security photos can be added to the Transact system, making them visible across the following Pace systems:

  • Digital ID System
  • Transact System
  • Banner
  • Brightspace/Classes
  • Pace Portal
  • Qwickly Enrollment Verification

Note: Updating photos virtually is not possible without also updating the Pace ID card, which requires a manual process. There is a fee (e.g. $30) for students who wish to update their photo ID. To request a photo change, users must email auxiliaryservices@pace.edu. Once approved, photo updates are viewable within 24 hours to 2 weeks but may take longer to be reflected across all systems. If the changes are not visible after this time period, please create a Help Desk ticket and specify which system is not updating.

For more information on how to upload photos to the Transact systems, please refer to the OneCard Photo ID Submission link.
