Brightspace/Classes: Archiving Courses

Introduction

This tutorial guides you to download a Brightspace/CLASSES course export file.

Step-by-step guide

1. Click on the Tools tab in the blue navigation bar inside of your course
    
2. Click the Course Admin link
   
    
3. Click Import/Export/Copy Components.
   
    
4. Select the Export as Brightspace Package radio dial
   
    
5. Click the Start button
   
    
6. Click the checkbox to Select All Components
   
    
7. Click the Continue button.
   
    
8. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select the Include course files in the export package checkbox
   
    
9. Click the Export button.
   
    
10. Click the Done button.
    
     
11. You will receive an alert in your Update Alerts icon (look for the orange dot) when your export is complete. Click the icon.
    
     
12. Click the Export finished message to access the file
    
     
13. Click the "Click here to download the export Zip package" text to download the file to your computer. Click the Done button.
    
     
14. The file is typically saved to your Downloads folder. Move it to a secure location such as Pace's file storage solution, WFS or OneDrive for Windows or MAC.
