Network MAC Address

Introduction

The following instructions provides the way to retrieve a Network MAC Address from various devices.

Instructions

Windows 

Select the respective device below to retrieve a Window device's MAC address:

 Windows 10

  1. click on Windows icon
    windows icon
  2. Go to Settings icon
    Setting icon
  3. Click on Network & Internet
    Network and Internet option 
     
  4. Click on Properties under Ethernet or Wi-Fi (depends on whatever you are connected to)
    Ethernet Option
     
  5. The Physical Address (MAC address) is listed
     

Windows 11

  1. click on Windows icon

  2. Go to Settings icon

  3. Click on Network & Internet tab

  4. Click Advanced network settings

  5. Click Hardware and connection properties

  6. The Physical Address (MAC address) is listed

Windows Command Prompt

  1. Click Windows icon
  2. Search for Command Prompt in the search bar and open it
  3. In Command Prompt window type ipconfig/all and press enter on the keyboard
  4. Locate to the Physical Address
    • Note: If you are on a wireless network see for Physical Address under WLAN  or Wireless LAN adapter option
  5. If you are using Ethernet connection see under Ethernet adapter option

macOS

  1. Click on Apple icon on the top left and select System Settings

  2. Click on the Network icon Internet and Wireless section

  3. Click on Wi-Fi or Ethernet in the left pane

  4. Click on Advanced in the bottom right
  5. Go to the Hardware tab and the first thing mentioned is the MAC address

Apple TV

Instructions below may vary depending on Apple TV model. To learn more about your device, please refer to the Apple TV Support page.

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Click General and then About
  3. The MAC Address is listed next to either Wireless ID or Ethernet ID.

iPhone

Note: The iPhone's WiFi Address is also known as the Mac Address. To learn more, please refer to Apple's article about Wi-Fi Address.

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Tap on General

  3. Tap About and scroll down to see Wi-Fi Address (Mac Address)

Roku

  1. Go to the Roku Home screen
  2. Select Settings
  3. Select System
  4. Select About
  5. Ethernet MAC address and Wireless MAC Address must be listed under System Info roku system info
