ePortfolio: Dr. Lawler's CIS102W Course

Introduction

This tutorial will show you how to get started in ePortfolio for Dr. Lawler's CIS102W course.

Instructions

Logging In

1. Open a browser (e.g., Firefox, Internet Explorer) to https://eportfolio.pace.edu/
2. Type your pace portal credentials
3. Click Login

Joining a Group

1. Click GROUPS tab
   
2. Click Find Groups
   
3. Enter the course's 5 digit CRN# in the Groups I can join search bar
   
4. Click Search
5. Next to your course, Click Join this group
   • Note: Before joining the group, make sure the 5 digit CRN# matches your course.
     

Copying Dr. Lawler's Collection

1. Click MY EPORTFOLIO tab
   
2. Click Copy
   
3. Enter the course's 5 digit CRN# in the Copy a page or collection search bar
   
4. Click Copy collection
   • Note: Before copying the collection, make sure the 5 digit CRN# matches your course.
      

Sharing Your Collection

1. Click MY EPORTFOLIO tab
   
2. Under the new collection, Click the Lock icon
   
3. Click Manage Access
4. Click Share with
   
5. Select your course's group from drop down menu
   
6. Click Save
   

Locating Assignments

1. Click MY EPORTFOLIO tab
   
2. Click the course collection corresponding to the class
   
   • The Rubrics page is where you will submit all of your assignments. Dr. Lawler has already set up the homework assignments and their due dates.
      

Submitting Assignments

1. On the Rubrics page, click Edit this page
2. Click the Cog icon next to the assignment you would like to complete
3. Enter your content
   • To insert an image, Click the Image icon
     
4. Click Save
