Insight: Limiting Web Use in Classrooms

Introduction

Limit students from using the internet in a computer classroom installed with the Insight software.

Instructions

1. On the Teacher Station's computer, right click the Faronic's Insight Teacher icon in system tray
   
2. Select Open Insight Console...
   
3. Click the down arrow next to Limit Web
   
4. Click Block All to block all web use
   
   -or-
   Click Configure Web Limiting to only block certain pages
   
   • Note: Configure Web Limiting lets you block specific websites, restrict students from using InPrivate Browsing feature, or only allow a list of websites to be accessible.
