Classes: Add Accommodations to an Assignment

Introduction

The instructions below show you how to add accommodations to an assignment in Classes.

Instructions

1. Click Activities and Assignments in the navbar
   
2. Edit an existing assignment by clicking the chevron next to the assignment name and choosing Edit Assignment or click the button to create a New Assignment
   
3. Once in the assignment editing screen, click the drop-down arrow in the Availability Dates and Conditions section to expand the options
   
4. Scroll down to the Special Access section and click Manage Special Release
   
5. If you are assigning different visibility and due dates for a student, keep the first choice selected.  If you are limiting visibility of this item to only specific students, choose the second radio dial.  Click the Add Users to Special Access button.
   
6. Add alternative due and/or availability dates
   
7. Scroll down and select the student the special access applies to
   
8. Click Save
