Brightspace/Classes: Create a Checklist


You can add a checklist to help students stay on track and complete all aspects of an assignment.


  1. In of a module, click Upload/Create and choose New Checklist.
  2. Enter a Title for the checklist and add a description if desired in the Instructions text editor.
  3. Click Save.
  4. Click Add a New List.

  5. Click on List 1 to add a list name.
  6. Click Add a New Task to add a task to the list.

  7. Add a due date and description if desired.

  8. Use the full html editor to add documents, videos or quicklinks to assessments or module content.

  9. Continue to add lists and tasks until the checklist is complete.
