How do I appeal for additional aid consideration?

The Financial Aid Office at Pace University understands that students and their families may experience unforeseen circumstances and/or expenses during an academic year.  Our Financial Aid Appeal Form for Additional Aid Consideration is designed to address a student's request for additional funding consideration as a result of these expenses or circumstances.

Students who would like to submit an appeal for additional aid consideration should visit the Forms and Applications page of the Financial Aid website and click the link for the Financial Aid Appeal Form for Additional Aid Consideration.  Make sure you are accessing the correct form for the aid year you are applying for.

If approved, appeal funds are typically awarded in the form of a one-time discretionary grant.  These funds are not renewable, however, appeal funds may be applied for once per aid year.

Students looking to submit an appeal for additional aid consideration from the Financial Aid Office must have a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file and must be packaged with financial aid for the aid year in which they are applying.

Continuing Students Only:

Continuing students looking to submit an appeal for additional aid consideration must also have accepted/declined their current financial aid offers for the aid year in which they are applying and must have their Federal Verification completed, if selected, before their appeal will be reviewed.
