Maintaining Matriculation

Instructions Regarding the Maintaining Matriculation Form


Due Date: All students must submit completed form with payment no later than February 22, 2022 to Maintain Matriculation for the Spring 2022 semester.

Graduate Students: Graduate students who have received permission from their department for an extension on program completion have the option to Maintain Matriculation for a maximum of 2 semesters, which will allow them to receive continued access to University benefits listed below, as detailed in the University Catalogue.

Doctoral Students: Doctoral students are required to submit Maintaining Matriculation form for each major semester (Fall and Spring) that they are pursuing a degree but are not enrolled in any credit-bearing courses. This is a degree requirement, as detailed in the University Catalogue, and students who neglect to Maintain Matriculation by the due date indicated above will be subject to the late registration fee of $200.

Students are encouraged to meet with their advisors to determine the appropriate action to take, and to find out which section is applicable to their program.
