Brightspace/Classes: Submitting a Video Recording in a Quiz

NOTE: Before beginning an exam which requires the use of a webcam and microphone, please test that your equipment is in working order.

1. Using Firefox or Chrome as your web browser, navigate to Activities on the blue navbar in your course homepage.
    
2. Select Quizzes
   
    
3. Click on the name of the quiz when you are ready to begin and click the Start Quiz button.
   
4. When you are ready to respond to the question, click the Insert Stuff button in the toolbar to begin recording your video.
   
    
5. Click Add Video Note.
   
    
6. The Record Webcam button should already be selected, if it isn't click it.
   
    
7. Scroll down and click the New Recording button.
   
    
   1. If you are asked to grant permission for the use of the webcam and microphone, click allow or click the lock button in your browser's address bar and grant permission.

8. When you are done recording your response, click Stop Recording.
   
9. Click the Next button.
   
    
10. Click the Next button on the following page.
    
     
11. Click the Insert button.  Your video may display the below message, but you can still insert the video without waiting for the image to refresh.  Your video will be successfully inserted.
    
12. You will see the video inserted into the quiz question text editor.
     
13. Move on to the next question or submit the quiz.
