Introduction
OneDrive app provides functionality to access files on the Office 365 cloud storage. This enables access to all your documents, pictures, and videos so you can work from anywhere. The following instructions cover OneDrive app features to manage your content.
Note: Those using the OneDrive for Android, please refer to the OneDrive for Android article.
Instructions
Install OneDrive on iOS
- Download OneDrive from the App Store
- Open the OneDrive app
- Type your Pace Portal username and tap the blue arrow
- Type your Pace Portal password and tap Sign in
- Complete the series of prompts to finish the log in process
Create a Folder
- Tap the Files view
- Navigate to the location where you would like to the create folder
- Tap the plus icon to the top right hand corner
- Tap Create a Folder
- Tap where it says New folder and type the name of the folder
- Tap Create
Search for Files and Folders
- Tap in the Search bar box
- Type a word or phrase and hit the search button
- Tap on the file name to open
Manually Upload Photos and Videos
- Tap the plus icon to the top right hand corner
- Tap Upload for existing media on your device

Tap Take a Photo or Video to open your device's camera app
- If you chose Upload, follow instructions below:
- If prompted to access your Photos, tap OK
- If prompted, tap Photos and Videos
- Search in Photos library and select photos and videos to upload
- Tap Done
- If you chose Take a Photo or Video, follow instructions below:
- If prompted to access your camera, tap OK
- Take a Photo or Video from your device
- Tap on Use Photo or Use Video
Automatically Upload Photos or Videos
- Tap the Me icon
- Tap Settings
- Tap Camera Upload
- Toggle button to switch on
- Tap Confirm
- If prompted to access your Photos, tap OK
- If necessary, adjust the options as needed
- Note: The camera roll on your device uploads to OneDrive, rather than syncing. That means you can delete uploaded photos and videos from your device, and the copies in OneDrive won't be affected.
Move Files and Folders to a Different Folder
- Navigate to the file or folder you wish to move in the Files view
- Tap the Ellipsis to the right of the file or folder
- Tap Move
- Tap the folder you want the file or folder moved to
- Note: A new folder can be created for the selected item by tapping New folder, typing new folder name, and tap Create
- Tap Move at the bottom right hand corner
Delete a File or Folder
- Tap the Ellipsis to the right of the file or folder
- Tap Delete
- Note: Deleting a folder will also delete all contents within the folder
- Tap Delete to confirm
Make Files and Folders Available Offline
- Tap the Ellipsis to the right of the file or folder
- Tap Make Available Offline
- Confirm file or folder has a green check icon in the list view
Share a OneDrive File and Folder
- Tap the Ellipsis to the right of the file or folder
- Tap Share
- Tap and select who you would like to share with
- Tap check box to Allow editing if you would like to enable this feature
- Toggle button to switch between on or off
- Note: When Block download is switched on, the file being shared can not be downloaded. Allow editing has to be unchecked to have this options available.
- Tap Apply
- Type a name (e.g. Doe, Mr. John) or email address. If shown, select from the list of names. This step can be repeated to add more users.
- Type an optional message
- Tap Send
