Introduction
Pace accounts are locked out due to multiple login attempts using an incorrect password. Active Students, Faculty, Staff can use self-service portal to unlock their locked account by visiting the Apps/Downloads/Account Management page (https://adam.pace.edu/).
For further assistance to obtain technical assistance from an ITS representative, please use the following means:
Instructions
To unlock your account on ADAM.
- Go to the https://adam.pace.edu/
- Click Account unlock on right side of page
- Type your Pace username
- Click checkbox next to I'm not a robot to complete reCAPTCHA field
- Click Continue
- Note: If your Pace account is not currently locked, the screen which displays will show "Not Locked!". Follow instructions on screen to go to previous screen if you mistyped your username, or select cancel to return to the main page.
- Type your answers security questions that display, and click Unlock
In order to avoid account lockouts in the future, you must ensure that you:
- Update your Pace password for saved password on your mobile devices/tablets, and other Pace systems and services such as the PACE-WIFI.
- Clear Internet history for your browser.
- Log out properly from of all your sessions. As a rule, you should always successfully log out of your Pace Portal, Classes, or Help Desk system sessions.
Note:
- If the above does not resolve your specific account issue, we may do further troubleshooting while your account remains locked.
- The user can contact the ITS Help Desk at (914) 773-3333 and speak with a representative. The representative should follow the Password Reset guide of verifying information and then unlock users' account.
