This article was created to supplement the Onboarding Request for New Employee ticket form and provides a list of additional systems and resources that a newly-hired employee may need to be granted access to, depending on their job role. If needed, please use the link or email address provided for each system/resource to submit the additional access request.
- Brightspace/Classes LMS – This Learning Management System provides an improved learning experience for students and faculty alike with its intuitive, responsive user interface. You can learn more by visiting the Brightspace/Classes Learning Management System (LMS) website. The direct login to the system is https://classes.pace.edu. Employees get access to Classes LMS by default, but for anything additional, please submit a request via the Classes LMS Support Request ticket form.
- Data Warehouse – This is a reporting and analytics tool used to create reports and pivot table analysis within excel. Student and Financial data is available in the Data Warehouse. If you believe you should have access, please submit a ticket via the Data Warehouse Access Request ticket form.
- Degree Works – This system is Pace's degree audit, reporting and advisement tool. To learn more, visit the Degree Works website. To request access, please submit a ticket via the Registrar Systems: Open a Request Ticket form.
- Drupal Content Management System (CMS) – This is the web interface used to edit and update the Pace website and related webpages. Each department/area has a "Webmaster" who is responsible for updating the content on their specific department pages. You can learn more on the Drupal Training website. For website questions or support, or to request Webmaster access, please submit a ticket via the Website Support Request ticket form.
- Duo Multifactor Authentication (MFA) – Many Pace systems use Duo MFA as an extra layer of protection during the login process. Authorized Pace users enroll a mobile device (e.g. smartphone) and can then retrieve and provide a unique passcode to successfully log in to a protected Pace system. You can learn more by reviewing the Duo Multifactor Authentication (MFA) article. If there's any issue with the Duo MFA enrollment process, the employee should contact the ITS Help Desk at 914-773-3333.
- Handshake – This is a vendor platform that connects students/alumni and employers and offers access to internships, jobs, workshops, etc. Access is managed by Career Services and is reviewed/granted upon individual request (via email) and stated business need/purpose. The info website is located at https://www.pace.edu/career-services/contact-us. For access, please email careers@pace.edu (no ticket needed).
- Mobile Devices – Some employees may be approved for a mobile device (e.g. smartphone) based on the nature of their position duties and responsibilities. To request a new/upgraded device and related accessories, submit a ticket via the Mobile Devices request form (additional approval may be required).
- OnTrack – This is a student retention tool which supports Pace students in their progress toward degree completion. It is mainly used by faculty, advisors, and students. To request access, submit a ticket via the ITS Student Systems Request - General ticket form.
- Pace ID Card Authorized Entry Access – Certain campus buildings and/or departmental areas require the use of a Pace ID card with authorized access. To request authorization for a new employee, please submit a request to Campus Safety and Security on the appropriate campus and include the employee’s name and Pace ID Card number on back side, plus the location(s) where access is needed.
- Parking Permit (Pleasantville and Law School Campuses) – All staff, faculty, students, contract employees, and visitors must display a valid permit when parking on the Westchester campuses (Pleasantville or Elisabeth Haub School of Law in White Plains). - Qualtrics – Qualtrics is a free web-based survey software for faculty, staff, and students which can support research, teaching, and administration at Pace University. For more information, visit the Qualtrics Website. Note: Access to Qualtrics also requires enrollment in Duo Multifactor Authentication (MFA).
- Training Registration System Admin Site – This is the back-end system for the training registration website available to faculty and staff. System administrators can post and manage their training sessions (topics, descriptions, dates/times, location). To request back-end admin access, submit a ticket via the Website Support Request form and select "Training Systems Website Admin Access."
