Timing and Display Options
- Click to expand the Timing and Display section

- Select the check box next to Set time limit to include a time limit

- Type the number of minutes learners have to take the quiz in the text box

- Note: By default, the quiz will have a time limit of 120 minutes inputted and automatically submit once the time limit expires
- Click Timer Settings to change what happens when the time limit expires

- Select one of the quiz start options and one fo the three time limit expiration options and click OK
- Note:
- Automatically submit the quiz attempt - Submits the quiz attempt for the learner immediately after the time limit expires
- Flag as "exceeded time limit" and allow the learner to continue working - Flags the quiz attempt as exceeding the set time limit and allows the learner to continue taking the quiz indefinitely
- Do nothing: the time limit is not enforced - Time limit acts as a recommendation. The quiz will remain available and will not be flagged if the learner continues working after the time limit expires

- Select a question Paging option from the drop down

- Check the remaining options as desired

- Click Manage Header and Footer to create a header and/or footer for the quiz

- Type the desired header and/or footer in the text boxes then click Add
