Turnitin: Adding Professors to Turnitin Account

Introduction

Professors who wish to use the "Quick Submit" button to submit an assignment to Turnitin separately from a Brightspace/CLASSES course (see Confluence article: "Submit a Single Paper to Turnitin") will not be able to log in to turnitin.com if they have never created a Turnitin assignment in one of their courses before. To give them access, follow the steps below.

Note: You must be a Turnitin Admin to do this.

Instructions

  1. Log in to turnitin.com, and on the black bar along the top of the window, change your role from Instructor to Administrator

  2. Choose the Pace University account (ID: 33931)

  3. Hit the Instructors tab along the top of the window, and then on Add Instructor on the far right-hand side

  4. Enter the professor's information and hit Submit

  5. The professor's name will now appear in the list of instructors, and they will be able to log in to turnitin.com and use the Quick Submit button.
