Brightspace/Classes: Creating an External URL Homepage

Introduction

This article explains how to create an external URL homepage in Classes.

Instructions

1. Click on the course, press Tools in the blue navigation bar, select Course Admin and then Homepages
2. 
    
3. Click Create Homepage
   
4. Type the Name the new Homepage and enter a description if desired
   
5. Select External URL in the Type dropdown box
   
6. Enter the Url
   
7. Click Save and Close
8. You will be brought back to the previous page.  To change the active homepage, click the dropdown box under the Active Homepage heading.  Choose which of the existing homepages you would like to make the active homepage. Click Apply.
