Introduction
Mathematica is a software package that is ideal for communicating scientific ideas, whether visualization of a concept in an introductory level course or creating a simulation of a new idea related to research. Mathematica is commonly used in mathematical sciences, physical sciences, business and finance, life sciences, engineering, and computer science.
Mathematica is currently installed in the ITS computer labs. Pace students, faculty, and staff can also download the software on their own computers by following the steps below.

Instructions
Request Mathematica
To request Mathematica Desktop, Mathematica Online, and Wolfram|Alpha Pro, follow the directions below.
Students
- Create an account (New users only):
- Go to user.wolfram.com and click Create Account
- Fill out the form using a @pace.edu email, and click Create Wolfram ID
- Check your email and click the link to validate your Wolfram ID
- Request access to the product:
- Mathematica Desktop - For a personally owned machine:
- Fill out this form to request an Activation Key
- Click the Product Summary page link to access your license
- Click Get Downloads and select Download next to your platform
- Run the installer on your machine, and enter Activation Key at prompt
- Mathematica Online
- Fill out this form to request access
- Go to Mathematica Online and sign in to access Mathematica Online
- Wolfram|Alpha Pro
- Fill out this form to request access
- Go to Wolfram|Alpha and click Sign in to access Wolfram|Alpha Pro
Faculty
