SPSS: Renewing on Mac

Introduction

Below are the steps of Renewing SPSS on Macs.

Please select from the list of topics:

• SPSS 28 & 29 
• SPSS 27 and Earlier 

Note: SPSS renewal codes are only available for current faculty, staff, and students.

Instructions

1. Go to the ADAM page to renew SPSS
2. Click SPSS
3. Enter your Pace Username and Password
   
4. Click on the License Renewal
5. Select SPSS Version you current have on your computer
6. Click Download License Renewal File
7. Double Click the License Authorization file you downloaded from ADAM. Copy the code in the file.
   
8. Continue using the instructions for SPSS 28 or Later or SPSS 27 or Earlier depending on your version.
    

SPSS 28 & 29 

1. Open the SPSS Software 
2. Click File -> Manage License
   
3. Click Launches License Wizard 
   
4. Click Next > then choose Authorized user license and click Next > again.
   
5. Paste the License Authorization Code into the Enter Code field and click Add.  Click Next >
   
6. Click Next > then click Finish.  Click Restart when prompted
   
7. Your SPSS license has been renewed and you may continue to use the software
    

SPSS 27 and Earlier

1. Use the Spotlight Search (magnifying glass) on the top right of the screen and search for SPSS License and open SPSS  Statistics License Authorization Wizard.
   
2. Click OK if you are presented with the below box.  If not, proceed to step 10. 
   
3. Click Next > on the License Status Your SPSS license has been renewed and you may continue to use the software.
   
4. Choose Authorized user license on the Product Authorization window and click Next >
   
5. Paste the code you copied in Step 7 into the text box and click Next >
   
6. Click Next> once authorization is completed, then click Finish
   
7. Your SPSS license has been renewed and you may continue to use the software.
