Introduction
Outlook Calendar will display appointments/meetings based on the time zone saved in settings. For people who travel between different time zones, it is important to update the calendar time zone settings to ensure that appointments/meetings display correctly and to avoid confusion. For example, the correct time zone for New York is (UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada). The account holder can view and edit the time zone settings by following the steps below.

Instructions
The steps to set your time zone will depend on which version of Microsoft Outlook you have. See links below to select your version. After you save your changes, your Outlook Calendar will display your appointment times in the selected time zone(s).
Outlook Web (email365.pace.edu)
- Log in to email365.pace.edu with your Pace Portal username, password, and Duo MFA passcode.
- Click Settings (gear icon) on the top right (next to your initials).
- On the Settings window, click Calendar on the left and scroll down to the Time zones section.
- (Optional) Check the box for When I travel across time zones, ask me if I want to update my time zone.
- Click the Display my calendar in time zone dropdown and select the desired time zone.
Note: For New York, use (UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada).
- (Optional) Add a name in the Label field to identify your selected time zone.
- (Optional) Click +Add time zone button to add another time zone.
- Click Save on the bottom right of the window to save changes.
- Click X on the top right of the Settings window to close it.
New Outlook
- Open New Outlook and click the File tab, then click Options (bottom left).
- Click Settings (gear icon) on the top right.
- On the Settings window, click Calendar and scroll down to the Time zones section.
- (Optional) Check the box for When I travel across time zones, ask me if I want to update my time zone.
- Click the Display my calendar in time zone dropdown and select the desired time zone.
Note: For New York, use (UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada).
- (Optional) Add a name in the Label field to identify your selected time zone.
- (Optional) Click +Add time zone button to add another time zone.
- Click Save on the bottom right of the window to save changes.
- Click X on the top right of the Settings window to close it.
Outlook Classic
- Open Outlook Classic and click the File tab, then click Options (bottom left).
- On the Outlook Options window, click Calendar and scroll down to the Time zones section.
- Click the Time Zone dropdown and select the desired time zone.
Note: For New York, use (UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada).
- (Optional) Add a name in the Label field to identify your selected time zone.
- (Optional) Check the box to Show a second time zone (and Show a third time zone) to add more time zones.
- Click Ok button to save changes and close the Outlook Options window.
