Stata: Renewing License on Windows

Introduction

The instructions below explain how to renew your Stata license on a Windows computer. This yearly process ensures that your software remains active and fully functional.

Instructions

1. Open Stata and click Help then Update License
   
2. Click Enter or import new license and click OK
   
3. Enter in your Name and Pace University for Organization.  Then copy and paste the Serial number, Code, and Authorization from the Stata19_xxxx.txt file you downloaded from https://adam.pace.edu.  Then click Next >
   
4. Optional:  Check or uncheck the box to Register Stata online.  Then click Finish
   
5. You Stata license should now be renewed
