Introduction

This article is meant to guide you in checking for the latest updates of your operating system for Windows, Mac, iPhone, and Android devices.

Instructions

Windows OS Updates

Windows users can follow the instructions below in updating to the latest Windows 10 operating system.

Option 1

1. From the task bar, in the Search field (bottom left), type Check Windows Update
2. Select Check for updates from the menu options to display Settings window
   
3. Click Check for updates button
   

OR

Option 2

1. Click the Start button
   
2. Select Settings
   
3. Select Update & Security 
   
4. Select Windows Update on the left side
   
5. Click Check for updates button
   

Mac OS Updates

Mac users can follow the instructions below in updating to the latest MacOS operating system.

1. Click the Apple icon at the top menu bar
   
2. Select System Settings 
   
3. Click General on the left side
   
4. Click Software Update on the right  
   

iPhone Updates

iPhone users can follow the instructions below in updating to the latest iOS operating system.

1. Tap the Settings icon
   
2. Tap General
   
3. Tap Software Update
   

Android Updates 

Android users can follow the instructions below in updating to the latest Android operating system.

1. Open your phone's Settings app
   
2. Tap System updates near the bottom of the page
   
3. Tap Check for system updates
